Lake District Tweed at The King’s Arms, Hawkshead

Our Lake District Tweed throws are now part of the bedrooms at the newly reopened King’s Arms in Hawkshead — and we couldn’t be happier about it.

The team there have done a brilliant job restoring this much-loved coaching inn. It’s a proper Lakeland place — stone floors, oak beams, good food and a fire to warm up by after a day on the fells. The rooms are elegant, comfortable and full of local character.

It’s great to see our tweeds in use somewhere that shares the same values we do: local craft, real materials and things made to last.

Each of our throws is woven from the wool of sheep grazing the surrounding fells, spun and woven here in the North West. So they feel right at home in a place that’s as rooted in the Lakes as we are.

If you’re heading up this way and looking for a good pub stay look up The King’s Arms, we're sure you'll love it.
