Buttermere Tweed

Each spring, the quiet slopes of Rannerdale Knotts are awash with a haze of bluebells,  a wild, untamed bloom that carpets the valley in vivid colour. The Buttermere Tweed takes its inspiration from this fleeting spectacle, capturing the softness, movement, and magic of the season.

Originally designed for a throw, the pattern has been simplified for versatility in cloth, while retaining the essence of its floral origins. Also available in a beautifully classic herringbone.

A soft yet durable tweed,  perfect for garments, interiors, or handmade pieces that carry the colours of the landscape.

Designed by Curlew Fabric Design and woven in the North West of England, this cloth is made from 100% British wool — renewable, biodegradable, and recyclable. A true reflection of place, craft, and care.
