Grasmere Throw

£150.00

Full of quiet poetry, the Grasmere Throw is inspired by the delicate lead lattice windows of Dove Cottage, the beloved home of William and Dorothy Wordsworth. The soft green woven through the design represents the climbing foliage that frames those windows, blurring the boundary between home and hill, verse and valley.

Designed by the Lancs and Lakes Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, the pattern brings a gentle rhythm and reflective quality to the cloth. The wool is 100% North Country Mule, sourced from Hogg Hodgson’s flock at Rydal Hall Farm, not too far from the cottage itself.

A throw for readers, dreamers, and lovers of landscape. Grounded in place, made to last.
