The tweed pattern was simplified from the original design used in the throws by the Lancs & Lakes Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, that represented the fells and valleys of the area. It will also be available in a herringbone.
The Cheviot cross wool used to make this throw is from Harry Place Farm in the Langdale Valley.
The tweed is sold by the metre and is 150cm wide.
