Langdale Tweed
From the heart of the Langdale Valley, this tweed is inspired by the green mosaic of small fields and hedgerows. The original pattern created by the Lancs & Lakes Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, the design has been beautifully simplified, distilling the rhythm of the valley's contours into cloth. It’s also available in a classic herringbone — timeless and versatile.
Spun from Cheviot-cross wool sourced from Harry Place Farm, just beneath the Langdale Pikes, this is a truly local tweed — rich in texture, durability, and story.
Perfect for garments, interiors, or craft projects where authenticity and heritage matter.
Designed by Curlew Fabric Design and woven in the North West of England, this cloth is made from 100% British wool — renewable, biodegradable, and recyclable. A true reflection of place, craft, and care.
