The Ullswater Herdwick Smock

£225.00

The Ullswater Wool Smock

Woven from the wool of hardy Herdwick sheep and rare breed Whitefaced Woodlands from sheep that graze the fells and lowlands of Ullswater, this simple smock will keep the warmth in and the wind out, whether you’re gathering your fell sheep, walking the hills or smartening up, farmer-style.

Wool has kept shepherds warm for centuries, now crafted into a fuss-free smock that’s full of good farming and business practice.

The tweed is brushed to add a softness and warmth and we have added dry oilskin on the shoulders and hems for extra protection.

The wool is from Ullswater, all the preparing takes place in the northwest of England with our trusted network of wool processors. The dry oilskin is British made using organic cotton and the final making is done in London with a brilliant company that works with small companies like ours so avoid over-production waste.
