Eskdale Tweed
With its soft, dusky tones drawn from the natural pink hues of Eskdale granite, this tweed pays tribute to a valley rich in industrial charm and geological beauty. The throw design takes its cues from the circular geometry of the steam train turntable at the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway — one of the oldest and most scenic narrow-gauge lines in the country.
Originally developed as a throw, the pattern has been refined and simplified for versatility, while retaining the movement and warmth of the original inspiration. Also available in a classic herringbone weave.
Rooted in the landscape, full of texture and story — this tweed is perfect for slow fashion, soft furnishings, or projects that call for a strong sense of place.
Designed by Curlew Fabric Design and woven in the North West of England, this cloth is made from 100% British wool — renewable, biodegradable, and recyclable. A true reflection of place, craft, and care.
