Ullswater Throw
Peppered with pops of gentle colour, the Ullswater Throw takes its inspiration from the wildflower meadows blooming on the farm of writer and shepherd James Rebanks. These meadows are a symbol of restoration and care, vibrant with pollinators, birdsong, and seasonal beauty.
The throw is woven from a blend of Herdwick and Whitefaced Woodland wool, sourced from the Rebanks' flock at Racy Ghyll Farm and from Candida and Sam Hodgson at nearby Glencoyne Farm. Designed by the Lancs and Lakes Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, the pattern captures the elegance of meadow flowers within a rugged landscape.
A piece of living landscape - soft, honest, and deeply rooted in place.
**Only a few of the original throws left in stock, but you can pre-order the new design so you'll be first to have it! (These will hopefully be in stock before Christmas but it just depends on whether the weavers can fit us in to their production line).
