The story behind the cloth
Coniston,in every thread.
These materials shaped the lives and livelihoods of the people who lived here and their legacy is echoed in the structure and colour of this enduring design.
Created by the Lancs and Lakes Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, the throw is woven from 100% British wool, sourced from farms at the southern end of the Coniston valley, including our own! The blend of Cheviot and North Country Mule brings a strong, tactile quality to the cloth - practical, natural, and deeply rooted in place.
Ideal for rustic interiors, mountain cabins, or anyone drawn to the textures of the land.
