Buttermere Throw

£150.00

A celebration of colour and reflection, the Buttermere Throw shares its design with the Ennerdale. Inspired by the mirrored silhouettes of trees on still lake water, but its palette is drawn from something far more fleeting: the vibrant carpet of bluebells at Rannerdale Knotts. These rare blooms flourish not in woodland, but in the open fellside, creating a spectacle of wild beauty unique to this valley.

Woven from Cheviot wool sourced from a National Trust farm cared for by Eddie Beard, this throw holds the texture of the land and the serenity of spring in every thread. Designed by the Lancs and Lakes Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, it’s both a piece of the landscape and a piece of living history.

Soft, breathable, and full of story — perfect for quiet mornings or cool evenings.
